Position: Community Navigation Associate/Bilingual – Part Time
16 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm
Pay Range: $16-18/hour, DOE
Reports to: Operations Manager

Aurora Interfaith is a non-profit organization whose aim is to express Christian concern for our community by providing substantive emergency assistance to the residents of Aurora. Aurora Interfaith does not charge a fee for any goods or services. Aurora Interfaith provides wrap around services to Aurora residents in need to nurture each person as a whole. Services include pantry food pantry visits, the Mobile Food Pantry distribution, a utility bill assistance and Community Navigation Program.
The Community Navigation Associate helps Aurora Interfaith find the root cause of hunger by ensuring participants’ needs are heard and appropriate resources and referrals are given to the participants.
Responsibilities
- Keep Community Navigation resources up to date, including but not limited to contacting existing resources to ensure referral information is up to date.
- Consistently seek out new resources that will help Aurora Interfaith participants based on participant needs surveys.
- Be the main contact for participants seeking referral resources.
- Perform intake on phone and computer for participants.
- Assist bilingual Spanish speaking pantry participants with paperwork and food upon arrival to pantry.
- Help with bilingual utilities assistance appointments using the EOC (Energy Outreach Colorado) assistance system.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position: Programs Manager – Part Time
20 hours per week
Pay Range: Salary of $26,000-$29,000 DOE
Reports to: Executive Director

Services include a brick and mortar food pantry, mobile food pantry and utility bill assistance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervision of the brick and mortar food pantry and general management of the mobile food pantry
- Coordinates all mobile food pantry events in line with program goals. To include but not limited to scheduling and managing volunteers during preparation and day of event and tear down
- Recruits and manages volunteers placement for all food programs
- Creates new processes to grow the brick and mortar food pantry program
- Monitors food inventory needs and places orders in line with budget to keep the shelves full
- Sustains and creates relationships with food donors that include individuals, churches and businesses
- Ensures all program staff and volunteers are utilizing the program database system accurately and timely
- Participates in planning and outreach meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited college or university
- Innovative and strategic thinker
- Team player a must
- Required to excel at Customer Service
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Frequently moves heavy boxes and canned goods to weigh 50 lbs or more
- Repeated climbing and lifting items out of box truck
