Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are always needed at AICS and individuals must be 18 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult. Tell us what you are good at and how much time you would like to spend volunteering and we will match your skills to a volunteer task.

If you have questions or want to learn more about volunteering at AICS, please call Roxanne Knutson at 303-360-9938. We will be glad to make an appointment for a tour and to meet with staff.

The Volunteer Coordinator screens candidates and orients them with the Volunteer Handbook to help them see AICS’s needs and give them the next steps in the process of becoming a volunteer. Staff members train volunteers for the position chosen in the pantry, office, or clothing room. Bi-lingual speakers are especially helpful to our very diverse clientele. AICS is proud of how we perform together and our welcoming climate. Come with a friend or family member and make your volunteering a social event!
